Mudra by Aashi began when we, Khushi and Aastha, both 19 at the time turned our shared love for animals into action. We wanted to rescue, care for, and provide shelter to street animals who had no one to protect them. We saw incredible women around us skilled in stitching and tailoring yet struggling for financial freedom.

That’s when the idea was born, Let’s build a brand that empowers both animals and women. In Sanskrit, Mudra means a gesture, a simple act that holds deep meaning. For us, Mudra is our gesture of love, Love for animals. Love for women. Love for the world we want to build. 

 

​What started as a passion project is now a purpose-driven fashion label.

• We feed over 100 animals (dogs and cats) daily.

• We’ve rescued 50+ dogs, offering them care and safety.

• We’re the virtual parents to 14 dogs living their best lives in a paid shelter.

• And we work with women artisans, helping them gain income and independence through their craft.
